Beyond Dance of Lynnfield is growing and we’re looking to add YOU to our Beyond family! We’re located in Lynnfield, MA. After opening our doors in 2023 we’re so overjoyed with such success that we are ready to add a member to our faculty!

We are seeking a dance educator who is trained in classical ballet. The ideal candidate would be comfortable teaching all levels and ages. Also, enforcing proper dress code, good behavior in class to fellow students and the teacher, and feel comfortable teaching proper terminology. We’re looking for someone on Monday’s, but willing to switch the schedule for the perfect fit!

• BFA degree in dance preferred
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Teach proper dance techniques, terminology, and choreography
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
- Organize and coordinate dance recitals, performances, and competitions
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure smooth operations of the dance studio
- Maintain a safe and clean dance studio environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge and expertise in dance, including various styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline while creating a positive learning atmosphere
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching dance to students of all ages
- Experience working with children or adults in a dance or theater setting is preferred
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
